Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Wairarapa Sews for Tuna Kuwharuwharu!

Roimata Rimene’s students have  strong kaitiakitanga and want to help bring the mauri back to the wai!  They lended some small hands to the public tapestry section at the Aratoi, but are also going back to school to create their own tapestry section.  Kia ora, kids!

Kia ora. Your beautiful words of encouragement to keep going with this project is deeply appreciated, especially now that the goal is to have the tapestry grow long enough to surround the Beehive in Velvet. Together we will bring the mauri back to the wai.
Aroha mai…aroha atu, te tuna kuwharuwharu wahine.
